Project House

Just bought a dilapidated house in an up and coming village which is actually the capital of the country we live in. Our tastes in builders are rather different and this unfortunately will be a joint catastrophe! We have come to the conclusion that it is probably best if we retain workers who are able to communicate without sign-language, although Lou's middle finger does come in handy even though she smokes twenty a day; her balancing skills are amazing!

Day 1.
Project Mood Board A: Lulu
We met up this morning at the Hilton (the tackiest place in town that actually serves bad coffee at 6:30am). The Ladybug Lady unfortunately could not join us at this time as her nails had not dried yet...Samples of wood and stone overshadowed our desire to drink bubbly and consume half the breakfast buffet.

But I did decide the colour of the front door - 'Parma Gray' (Farrow & Ball) because I liked the sound of it (anything that reminds me of food and Italy).

Stumbled out of the hotel at approximately 11:30 to go and get lunch ready...The local deli did not answer my calls!

Project Mood Board A: Lou

I Let Lulu think she had ordered Parma Gray, I dialled directory enquiries, she really believed she was speaking to the Marketing Manager at Farrow & Ball, after two rather large buckets of Buck's Fizz it was easy to convince her. We have actually chosen 'Porphyry Pink' (Farrow & Ball) and it's en-route as I type...
